Terrorism (Together), 1946

This will be the largest work in the forthcoming exhibition "Edwin G Lucas: A Purely Individual Painter" which will be held at Hawick Museum & Gallery from 05 Jul - 05 Oct 2025. It measures 140 x 178 cm. Edwin called it "Together" in his one man exhibitions at the New Gallery in Edinburgh in 1950 and 1951. Later, after many years experience of bringing up his own family, he changed the title to "Terrorism". Read into that what you will!
