Photo July 1957
Here's a photo of Edwin with his sons Frank and Alan, taken in July 1957, shortly after Alan's birth. Family responsibilities led to Edwin stopping painting, but the house was decorated with many of his paintings. In the background here we see "Roofscape", painted in 1951 and featuring a Cubist take on the tenement buildings of the Old Town of Edinburgh.
