Woodhall Grain Mill, 1940s

Edwin did this sketch of Woodhall Grain Mill in the 1940s. There was a mill on this site, on the Water of Leith just downstream of Juniper Green, from 1704. The last incarnation closed in 2001 and was replaced in 2005 by a housing development called "Woodhall Mill".

We see the old railway line going to the left of the mill, whereas the river goes to the right of the mill and isn't pictured.
