Edwin's first exhibition in England was held at the Beecroft Art Gallery in Southend-on-Sea from 10 June to 10 Sep 2023. Leading up to and during the exhibition, Picture of the Month featured some works that were being exhibited to a large audience for the first time.

The painting presents a composite view, giving an impression of the mills in general rather than representing one particular mill.
